UKDS is delighted to announce that Christopher Gwynn has been appo
inted as the new Chef de Mission for the 2009 Deaflympics.
Christopher has been involved in previous Deaflympics, both as a coach and a player, as well as working as a PE teacher at Mary Hare school for over 30 years holding many coaching qualifications. We are naturally thrilled that someone of such a high calibre will be Chef de Mission.
He is passionate about sports and has been a regular member of the GB Deaf Football team that won Bronze, Silver and Gold medals in successive World Games in Germany, America and New Zealand, alongside involvement in European Championships. Christopher has strong commitment; understanding and leadership skills, which we are confident, will contribute to the success of the GB team.
