UK Deaf Sport is a registered charity which aims to encourage Deaf people to participate, to enjoy and to excel at sport.
We provide information on Deaf sporting events throughout the UK.
Sportivate is a nationwide funding programme that aims to provide organsiation with funding to support them to provide opportunities for teenagers and young adults to receive 6 weeks of coaching in the sport of their choice and guide them into regular participation within their community.

The Rugby Football Union is committed to delivering opportunity for deaf people to access their sport.
In partnership with the National Deaf Childrens Society, they have developed a guidance document for all involved in rugby union that provides vital information for players, parents, coaches and administrators in ensuring that children and adults with any level of deafness have a positive experience of the sport.”

In 2011, alongside the English Federation of Disability Sport and the main National Disability Sports Organisations, UK Deaf Sport were pleased to receive National Lottery funding to enable us to support National Governing Bodies of sport (NGBs) to deliver more opportunities for Deaf people, through employment of an Inclusive Sports Advisor.
