UK Deaf Sport and its member organisations provide support and advice to a range of people and organisations.
Individuals
If you are the only deaf person in a mainstream club and you are having difficulties such as you feel that the coach doesn’t communicate properly or you feel left out we can help. By working with you and your club we can act as a mediator to provide solutions to help resolve issues.
Mainstream Clubs
If you run a mainstream club that has deaf members and you feel like you don’t know how to meet their needs we can provide advice and guidance.
Alternatively if you are a mainstream club that would like to recruit deaf members than we can help you with promoting your club
Deaf Sports Clubs
We can advertise your events so that you reach a wider audience as well as providing advice if needed
Deaf Sports Organisations
We can work with you to contact your sport’s national governing body and help facilitate meetings so that you get maximum support for your sport from your NGB
Disability Sport Organisation
If you are a Disability Sport Organisation that is finding it hard to get deaf people to attend your events we can help by providing ways to encourage deaf people to attend
National Governing Bodies
We are available to provide specialised advice to NGBs with regards to their deaf and hard of hearing members.
